"If you are an employment agency, what will it cost me if you locate the right position for me?"

All positions are fee-paid, that is, the client hotel or resort pays Lake Associates placement fees and the candidates interview and relocation expenses. Expenditures for relocation vary from company to company and many companies set monetary limits on them.

"What positions do you have available?"

A range of job titles are displayed on our website, but our clients job needs change daily. Featured hospitality positions which are currently open are posted weekly and changed when warranted.

"How long does it take to get a job through Lake Associates?"

Sometimes the interview process begins a few days after our initial contact with you, other times the placement process takes months to complete. One of the factors you can control is to supply to us as quickly as possible, requested information which includes a resume, a list of references, and written permission to check those references.

The average duration of time from our first contact with you until you are hired is typically 90 days.

"I have a specific area that I want to relocate to, does it matter?"

Yes, the more information you supply to us concerning your preferences, including locality, the better job we can do for you. It should be noted however, that you limit your job opportunities by limiting your relocation choices.

"Do you have International placement needs?"

Yes, from time to time we accept International assignments.

"Why send references?"

We will not recommend anyone to our client companies without first doing a thorough background and employment check. We also get to know you better through your former superiors and peers.

"I'm still employed, can we keep my resume in confidence?

Yes, we at Lake Associates take pride in our confidentiality. All individuals are treated the same and we assume everyone wants that confidentiality maintained unless we are informed differently.

"How long will you keep my resume on file?"

Indefinitely, unless you specify differently. Lake Associates utilizes a sophisticated tracking system where your resume is never lost or forgotten.

"Do you accept referrals? Can I pass your name on to a friend?

Yes, and Yes! Networking is the heart of any business and word of mouth is the best advertising.
